Mama J's last day!

Roz took us for a spin round the Waiau Ta area in the morning, showing us where her family emigrated too, and where her family lived. It was fascinating to hear her speaking about her ancestry and her local knowledge. We popped into a local vineyard and a nearby chapel to have a look round.

We whizzed straight to the airport, but were in high spirits after such a lovely time with Roz and Scott's job offer back in Jersey. With Mum safely off on the next leg of her antipodean adventure, Claire dropped Trevor (our car) back off in town and Scott did lots of geekiness getting our blog up to date.

We had yet another fun evening with Tim and Cindy at their next door neighbour's (Pete, Jane & Luke) BBQ. Lots of fresh snapper, beer and wine!
