Today we bought two absolutely, unbelievably gorgeous british shorthair silver tabby kittens! At the moment they're 12 days old and have only just opened their eyes. Helen told us about them as they're being sold by a friend of a friend and so we had first choice on which ones we wanted. We opted for the ones below: A girl mackerel striped one and a boy classic silver tabby which has darker and wider stripes. We wanted a boy and a girl and picked the ones with the most distinct colourings. Before we left we got to see the Mum and Dad and they were both stunning too - The Mum was a stripy mackerel one and a bit paler than the girl we've chosen then the Dad turned up who was nice and stocky and had the classic silver tabby thick stripes! He even had a circle on his side and leapt athletically up onto the sofa then up onto the top of a cool ceiling swing thing. They'll be ready to pick up at the very beginning of November!

Hurray! We're so excited!

Update: After half a bottle of celebratory champagne (warming up for tomorrow's wedding) we think the kittens are going to be called: Janet and Bentley (Dupoy).
