Rest Day

Obviously we had a lazy morning and after cups of tea in bed we struggled out of our dressing gowns and into the sunshine of Wellington. We made it into town and to the Air New Zealand office to see if we could change our flights to get back to England two days earlier and we could. Now we get back on Thursday 26th June!

Having done our job for the day we went back to the hotel and I went for a run (first in ages) along the harbour front and then used the hotel gym, just because it was there really! The harbour area is lovely and Wellington seems like a really cool city.

We went out for dinner at the Flying Burrito Brothers, recommended to us by Becky and Ade. It was great - so nice to be in a busy, vibrant place and the food was really tasty. It was a good way to end our break in the capital before the slog to Auckland!
