Rest Day

Again, we had a go at skydiving but the weather had closed in and one look outside told us that we were not going to drop out of a plane today. It wasn't to be. It was a misty, moisty morning and looked set to stay that way all day. On the bright side we'll save lots of money not jumping and that leaves more time for baby clothes shopping!

Our other idea for the Wanaka region was to climb Mount Roy but in this weather we would have been in the cloud after ascending only 100m or so, so that idea had to be put aside too. Instead we got up to date with the log and laundry and looked round the shops of Wanaka before a 7:15 appointment back at Cinema Paradiso to see Once, a film that inspired Steven Spielberg for a whole year (hopefully to be happy) and to eat more cookies.
