We were having such a good time with Tim and Sam that we accepted their suggestion of staying another day with them.

After yummy pancakes for breakfast, Tim got busy painting their lounge and rewiring their TV ariel while we set of into town to do some more jobs. We sought out baby clothes and books and a present for Tim and Sam. We drank a pint of coffee each (don't you just love Starbuck's venti size?)

As a thank you to Tim and Sam we had a plan for the evening. We waited until Sam was home from work and gave them a drink each, then our thank you which was the Long Way Round DVD, making them sit down and relax watching the first episode. We got on and cooked Mexican dinner with fajitas and home made salsa and guacamole. It was so nice to be able to do something like this. On the road you just cook a simple dinner for yourselves in a dubiously clean kitchen trying not to get in the way of the other backpackers. We were able to cook a proper meal for ourselves and friends and had a nice relaxing evening. We looked at each other's wedding pictures: Tim and Sam had a registry office wedding in St Helier followed by a big re-enactment and do in France! It looked like a lot of fun!
