Cycle: 3km!

A rest day for us! After the big cycle yesterday and a disturbed sleep due to rain and Janet the cat we were a little useless today, to say the least. It was Hamner Art and craft Market on Saturday mornings so we made our way to the village green for what turned out to be a sorry excuse for such a market (not patch on St Kilda). Nevermind, at least we didn't spend any money! Instead we had a picnic on the grass and sat in the sun (and wind). It was really windy today and we were a bit worried about cycling into it tomorrow. After lazing for far too long we went into the Hanmer Springs for which the village is named and simmered away in the various hotpools. Back at the hostel we finished off our bread with more baked beans a new an dvery cheap meal for us although it is advisable not to repeat within 24 hours as we found out...tonight Janet left us alone and there was no rain so we were all set for our first Apine pass.
