After not quite enough sleep (albeit it in a very comfy bed with a slightly crazy cat), Tim kindly gave us a lift to the Airport to go and pick up Tony. He'd flown in from Shanghai, and had enough time before Sandra arrived (from London) to pick up our car from A2B Rentals and go and get a late breakfast from a great cafe called Luscious.

After collecting Sandra and presenting her with a purple Lei we had a whistle-stop tour of Auckland. We drove up One Tree Hill (sadly no longer with the tree since 2001) and over the bridge to Devonport and up Mount Victoria. The skys were fairly clear so the views were good.

Next, we drove up highway 1 all the way to Leigh, and had a little walk down to the harbour. After a simple dinner of ham and cheese we were all pretty tired so hit the sack...
